10,000 Miles by Memo Gonzalez & The Bluescasters

An album I've just been listening to is "10,000 Miles" by Memo Gonzalez & The Bluescasters (Stumble CD ST 13/ET22)
Again, this is an album with lots of original blues on it - the strong vocals & harmonica of Memo Gonzalez really drive the tracks along. Gonzalez, an integral part of the Dallas blues scene for a number of years, has the experience to make the album really cook, and it does this right from track 1. One of the few tracks not written by the group is the Hudson Whittaker number "She's Dynamite" and it is a real smooth piece of jazzy blues. However, I would buy the album just for "Louisiana Lover Man" & "The Pressures Of The City" alone, even if I didn't like the rest of the album (and I do).
